DESCRIPTION
Not only are we expanding the Biomimicry series with the Gamma, but we are also introducing the Gamma APX. This freestyle twin is one of the most unique boards we have ever developed. It takes concepts we've learned from nature and turns them into a shape that inspires creativity all over the mountain. It's a true twin with a difference: symmetrical nose to tail, but asymmetrical edge to edge.
Since turn initiation on the heel edge requires more power, we made this sidecut narrower than the toe edge, so the board looks uneven but actually rides smoothly from toe to toe. Combined with a positive profile for better carving control and more pop, the Gamma floats deep and holds its line on hardpack, both ways.
Our 3D molded Evolution Spoon Nose, which we first developed for the Alpha and Beta, is now available for the first time in a twin shape. At the nose, it provides a unique rolling feel when transitioning between turns and extra float in soft snow. At the tail, it provides a new, looser connection when buttering or jamming slashes, but the edges re-engage with razor-sharp precision as soon as you lean over them. The APX version comes with a faster, more durable N-9000 base and double carbon stringers on both sides of the core for more pop and responsiveness, but what really sets it apart is the Nidactive APX edge technology. This places the core directly over the edge, which not only looks like nothing else, but also increases the power you can exert out of the binding for an agile, adaptable and engaging riding experience.
The Gamma is for freestyle-oriented riders who want to transfer the skills they've learned in the park to the rest of the mountain. Think spinning in and out of pillow lines, finding new lines through natural halfpipes and shaping slushy hits in the spring. It's a unique board, made for unique experiences.
BLEM-Board (B-Grade): This brand new board has a minor cosmetic imperfection that does not effect Performance in any manner. Cosmetic blemishes may include minor pits, bumps, dimples, die-cut blems, scratches, Edge-to-base gap or misprinted graphics. All Performance and technical specs of this board meet our manufacturing Standards.

CONSTRUCTION
NIDACTIVE SANDWICH
This new construction has really put our experience and expertise in research, development and production to the test. The precision required to join the different layers of material together is measured in tenths of a millimeter. We use a cap construction for the nose and tail, while the slide section features a 2 mm sidewall with a machine-rounded core to achieve optimal characteristics and power transfer to the rails.

Our lightest core - with three different types of wood. The Light Core is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness and hard beech stringers along the edges that increase core durability, pop and edge impact protection.
